We are SO excited you are interested in auditioning for Pitch Please! Please fill out the form below if you are interested in auditioning for the 2024-2025 school year! Filling out the form does NOT lock you into auditioning, it just indicates your interest!
2024-2025 Audition Information
This year, we are offering two dates for the first round of auditions. You will only be obligated to come to one of the initial audition dates, and you can choose which one works best for you! All audition nights will take place in Westbrook Music Building Room 110. Come by any time between the given hours listed below and we will call you in when we are ready!
First Audition Date: Tuesday, August 27th from 6:30 - 9 p.m.
Second Audition Date: Wednesday, August 28th from 6:30 - 9 p.m.
Callbacks: Friday, August 30th at 7 p.m.
Here is what you need to know to show up to auditions prepared:
First verse of "My Country 'Tis of Thee" in any key you would like!
For Soprano and Tenor voice parts, we suggest the key of F Major (Starts on F)
For Alto and Baritone/Bass voice parts, we suggest the key of C Major (Starts on C)
This selection will be memorized and sung a cappella
We may ask to hear a short pop, musical theatre, or contemporary solo as well!
The solo should be anywhere ranging from 45 seconds to 1 minute long (A verse and a chorus)
Sing it in whatever key you feel comfortable in
The song should show off what your voice is able to do! If you have crazy vocal runs, choose a song where you can show us!
This selection will be memorized and sung a cappella
Show up about 15 to 20 minutes before you want to audition! This gives plenty of time to fill out the form at the front table and will help us to organize the flow of the auditions!
